Struggling with chronic illness for 15 years now and more years upcoming. I went from being someone with a very active social life to someone who had to plan even the smallest activity with absolute precision.

Saying NO was a form of self-care. The times i said YES, when i should have said NO it was only me who suffered. Sometimes im not well enough to even respond to anything. When im having a really bad flare i will generally fire off a very short response.

My chronic illness has meant i’ve to let go all of my enjoyable do’s. 15 years and now Alhamdulillah i am now a great believer that things happen for a reason by Allahurabbi.
